As women, we have empathic superpowers whether we are conscious of how to use our gifts or not.
Some of us are more shut down and it’s helpful for us to learn to hone our intuition and energetic awareness, and others of us are too open and also need to hone our energetic mastery. ⠀
There are many subtle practices for working with our energetic gifts (which are practices we often explore in our virtual circles on the new and full moon), and there are some practical and important tip to staying energetically centered that is easy to put into practice right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Below are 6 ways to fortify your energetic boundaries: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Only dive into the news or media when you are grounded, clear, and emotionally stable. Do not retrigger yourself over and over again.⠀Know your limits. Often, when we are in a state of stress we are more drawn to things like Instagram or news. We are unconsciously seeking hits of dopamine to regulate us, but this in fact, only makes us more ungrounded. If you are finding yourself in an addicted cycle to watching the news or following a certain subject on social media… do your best to pull back. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Spend time outside every day. Yes, go for a walk without your phone in hand. Spend time in nature and breathe her energy into your energetic body. Let her replenish you.⠀You can literally ask mother nature to refill you with pure life force energy as you walk around. Take notice of the beauty of her flowers, her rocks, her trees. Appreciate her and breathe her in deeply. Feel yourself ground.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Spend time caring for your inner world. Meditate, journal, pray and do breathwork.⠀Take time to dive into ritual with yourself, even if it is just once a week. People often suggest to simply start with 5 mins a day, and we think that’s fabulous. However, a deep dive into your emotional world takes more than 5 mins… it takes about 20 -90 mins. Give yourself space at least once a week. Let your emotions out in a safe and empowered way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Imagine your light globe and plug up leaky energy. You have an energetic body around you. Close your eyes and use your senses and inner vision to feel and see the light globe around you. Imagine fortifying it with more light from the love of your heart or from the heart of the universe. Breathe into the edges of your auric field and feel yourself expand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6. Speak your needs and desires even when you are afraid: When we hold our truth in we become more disconnected from ourselves. In many cases, women don’t even admit the truth to themselves because we have been conditioned to contort our wishes to create harmony and please others. Learn to honor your truth. This is essential for your boundaries in relationships. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
